being funny is an art. truly, i believe in such a thing. i say that because, well, for the longest time i thought i was the funniest person in the world. that is, until i met my husband. and he told a joke i never heard before. now, my family is a family of comedians. really, no joke! my mother told me before she died that if a man ever made me laugh with a joke i never heard before, i should marry him on the spot, because that means his heart is genuine and true, and he wants your laugh forever and ever. so i did what mama told me.
